(The Villages, FL) Andrew Huntt, MD, has been appointed Associate Vice President (AVP) of Clinical Effectiveness at Central Florida Health. He assumed this role after a long and very successful record of excellence with Florida Musculoskeletal Institute.
A graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. Huntt is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who completed an internship at Boston Medical Center in Massachusetts and his residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Texas.

As AVP of Clinical Effectiveness, Dr. Huntt will provide a physician’s knowledge and perspective to the administrative team. He will provide strategic leadership for the development and measurement of a system-wide approach to clinical quality improvement and medical safety focusing on evidence-based clinical practices.
